The nutmeg is the kernel of the seed from a tropical tree, that grows up to 25 feet high. The spice mace also comes from the same plant, but a different part of the seed.

Using Nutmeg in rituals
Nutmeg is another of those wonderful herbs that are also culinary spices, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it at your local supermarket (etiher ground or whole).
Ground nutmeg is handy for all sorts of powders, incense or oil blends. But whole nutmeg is also a great choice as a charm or token, and is most powerful when used for financial matters (even gambling). It's Jovian influence also associates nutmeg with the law and legal issues. Use it to help with court cases or banking matters.
Though it's pretty common, in case you can't find any, you can use cinnamon in its stead.
