Day of Week: Thursday
This is a spell to make right any debts you have incurred.
Place your bills and promissary notes on a table.
Write the amounts on a small chalkboard and place it on top of the papers.
Light four green candles around them.
Say:
By one month’s end grant me the funds
to see my debts come all undone.
If not in total, at least in place
The power to make these debts erased.
Take some salted water and wipe the debts from your chalkboard one by one. Imagine the relief of being debt free and your creditors happy with you. This spell honors the festival of atonement to Zeus Meilichios, a pre-Olympian form of Zeus who oft demanded propitiating. He took the form of a great serpent and was offered cakes in the shapes of animals this day. The wealthy also offered animals; the poor, incense. What will you offer?
